Despite the senior batters struggling, Jaiswal displayed immense maturity and technical skill to shine against the world’s best pace attack in challenging conditions. His performance saw him become the second-highest run-scorer in the series, behind only Travis Head.
Opening the innings on his maiden Australia tour, Jaiswal faced some of the toughest challenges in the series. Though a few avoidable shots were made, it was his first experience, and he is expected to have gained valuable insights from the tour.
