Washington Sundar, surprisingly promoted up the order, played a crucial and aggressive innings of 49 off just 29 balls, smashing 5 fours and 2 sixes. He added a vital 90-run partnership with Gill before being dismissed by Shami.

Sherfane Rutherford provided the finishing touches with a blistering 35 off just 16 balls, including 6 fours and a six, helping GT finish the game in style.

GT reached the target in 16.4 overs, scoring 153/3, and sealed a comfortable 7-wicket win.
